As a design contributor to Creative Steps Magazine, I have designed and developed 8 engaging STEM-based early learning activities designed to promote sustainable play. Featured in both winter and spring editions, these activities aim to inspire children, parents, educators, and play professionals.
These activities focus on fostering creativity, problem-solving skills, and environmental awareness in children, all while encouraging hands-on learning. My goal is to provide accessible, sustainable, and educational play experiences that are both fun and meaningful.
PERSONAL CONNECTION TO PLAY BASED LEARNING
As a parent and toy designer, I am always looking for ways to incorporate sustainability into playtime with my child. The unexpected creativity that emerges from simple materials motivates me to continuously explore new ways to engage young minds and help them grow through play.
